 ASTRONOMY

Astronomy is the science dedicated to the study of celestial bodies that populate the cosmos: stars, planets, satellites, comets, meteorites, galaxies and all interstellar matter, as well as their interactions and movements.

In Boyacá there is an astronomy festival in the municipality of Villa de Leyva where experts give talks to visitors, place telescopes in the square and you can see celestial bodies at night with complete clarity, offering tourists a magical moment.

In the Tatacoa desert in Huila there is one of the most important observatories in Colombia and in 2022 I was fortunate to visit it and enjoy its spectacle.

My favorite constellation is Subaru, last year I bought a telescope, I like to observe the moon and look for planets.

 Family Family is very important to me. I have a large family. My father passed away but he left me with many lessons. My mother is a very hard-working, outgoing and strong-willed person. I have five siblings and ten nephews. I don't have children, "because if God doesn't give them children, the devil will give them nephews." I love my "sobrienanos."
